Carmel Dream

Original abstract art by Toronto-area artist Maryam Ebrahimi: “Carmel Dream”, painted in acrylic on canvas. On the canvas: a soft sky over blue water with caramel, gold and white birds drifting. It is part of the “Fly Me Away” collection, in which feathered brushstrokes become birds: a reflection of Maryam’s migration to Canada, her love of family and the longing to be together again. The birds echo the shape of the first letter of the Farsi alphabet, a nod to her native tongue. Measuring 36" x 24" x 1.5" in a horizontal format, it is a large statement piece for a living room, dining room or office. The canvas is gallery-wrapped, sealed with two coats of varnish to protect it from dust and moisture, and comes hardware-ready to hang, so no framing is needed. This original is not currently available, but Maryam accepts commissions. Message her through Partial to commission a similar piece in the size and colours that suit your space.

Love the new artwork in my office and living room. It lifts us up everyday, acts as a conversation piece in Zoom calls, and we love the most being able to support artists in our communities as well.
